Okay got a quick question i have a 94 ss is the ac compressor supposed to cycle off I just look at the compressor with the ac on high and it will come on for a few seconds then cut off then on then off again

You need to charge the system with freon or 134 depending on what you are using. You need to determine why the charge is low with a leak test. A/C shop will test for leaks.

So it does that when its low on freon
