Would I have to get extended upper and lower trailing arms to be able to notch the frame so the wagon can lay flat

i dont see why that would be necessary. just put the notch above the axle. if you plan to do the extended control arms eventually, make the notch wide enough to still clear the axle after it is moved back.

i think you gotta do the upper ones. I have a pic of a wagon thats notched w/ them. Because the wheel will go to far forward.

I talked to a guy who body dropped his wagon and notched the frame. He used the stock trailing arms and it worked but like what Wagon Boy said, the wheels went way too far forward. He had 17s or 18s and they almost hit the back side of the door jamb. My opinion would be to do it right the first time, get the extended upper and lower trailing arms then notch the frame. It would suck to notch the frame then get the trailing arms to find out your notch is in the wrong place.

Only for 20's you need the control arms. But i think its better to have them like he said.

It depends on the overall tire diameter. For example, stock SS size on 17's is the same as our 20's (27").
