Would it be possible without too much trouble to put the ABS system in a 1979 Cadillac?

There was a 95 caprice 9c1 at the local pick and pull, and I was thinking of ripping the entire breaking system out of it, and putting it on my deville. I'm just not sure how I would hook up the ABS part, like if it needs to be tied into any other computer components, or if it can just run on it's own or whatever.

Well, I don't actually know if I can afford all that right now, but I need a new brake booster for my Cadillac, and so what if I just get a 9C1 booster for now? Eventually I want to add the ABS and rear discs, but the ABS will wait until I swap in an LS1. So for now I just want to do the booster, and I want to know if it will work with my rear drums, and without it's ABS.

Buy/install the correct application Booster!
