I have restored many GM cars from the 60s and 70s. GranSport, Skylark, Malibu, Wildcat, Riviera etc. I have always used ACC carpets. Their 80/20 loop pile carpet was fantastic with great color matching. However ordering 1994-96 grey or blue carpet has no match according to the samples I have gotten nor the actual carpet or floormats I have ordered.

Not knowing that much about Caprice colors, it is that ACC ASSUMES Caprice colors and Roadmaster colors are the same? They show Crystal Blue the correct color for Roadmaster (and it DOES NOT MATCH, but it is the closest of all the samples) and Charcoal Grey as correct for the Grey, when it more closely matches the grey used in Taupe interior Fleetwoods.

I have run into parts application problems with my 1964-65 Skylarks too. Most suppliers confuse Specials with Skylarks. And when ordering window fuzzies, they contend that it is the same as GTO, when in fact GTO is the same as Special NOT Skylark.

But back to ACC, they just do not seem to have an answer for me other than "fading". It is all a bunch of Bullshit. It is very tiring for Buick enthusiasts to be on the bottom rung when it comes to GM restoration, especially the were number 2 just behind Cadillac in quality and luxury. CHEVY IS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE HEAP. Crummiest Heap Ever Ventured Yet.

Any others here have not been able to color match their Roadmaster colors? I understand that some interior colors for the 1991-1993 Roadmasters differ too.

So even though ACC and all the vendors that supply for them, say that 8082 Crystal Blue is correct for 1991-1996 Roadmasters, it is 9229 Steel/Crystal Blue that matches. So since two colors are called Crystal Blue, ACC flubbed up on their website as (so year specific colors only) and their vendors followed suit.
