you comment "they are out of stock" on the front (left) lower control arm....do you mean GM?

It would not surprise me if GM has discontinued this part, although info below suggests otherwise.

The automotive aftermarket provides new OE-equivalent assemblies like this, and they should be readily available--and for much less cost.

Info from GM Parts Direct, for reference only, not an endorsement:

GM 10232819
CATEGORY: Steering Knuckle Upper & Lower Control Arm
PACK QTY: 1
List Price: $286.68
Dealer Cost: $168.31

(click the brand name for full info on each item)
Raybestos Professional Grade $85.99

Moog R-Series $86.79

Moog Problem Solver $88.79

ACDelco $118.79

Any of these is "plus shipping", so final cost will be more, depending on who you are doing business with.

As a reference since I had a PM conversation W/4DoorSS concerning this fastener, I thought I'd add the pic for reference.

PART UPDATE - FRONT SPRING INSULATOR

NEW used on numerous GM coil-spring truck applications--this is a molded urethane part, with a locating "flange"--looks to be very tough, and will stay in place during spring installation far better than the original part--and not much difference in money, to boot.

GMPD listing
GM PART # 15737908
GM LIST: $9.89
OUR PRICE: $5.86
DESCRIPTION: INSULATOR
The above part, GM 15737908, is now a discontinued part. The equivalent part remains available as Moog K160045

Alrighty yall, I'm nearing the end of a front end overhaul, and I'm coming up one piece short - the triangular droop bumper that lives in the upper control arm. I'd like to have it, just so there's a soft landing at both ends of the suspension travel, and even if I could extract it from the old upper control arms that would kind of defeat the point of the whole project, which is to get rid of all the old rubber in the system.

If you know the real name of the part, or the part number from one of the front clip cousins, please let me know. Rockauto only shows the lower bump stop for B bodies

EDIT: after a couple more minutes of poking around the cousin platforms myself, I found Energy Suspension 39102G, which is listed for for the 1996 caprice but not the roadmaster wagon. Under $8 on Rockauto
