This is what i got for $43.00 delivered to my door,
i was under the impression that it would be a 12v powered cable for that price, with a connector to match the aldl connector in the car,.
1 wrong move with bare wires pushed into the socket and data flow could very easily be corrupted.
In my opinion poor value for money

so for $43 I get a serial cable end and what looks like phone cord?

i am an electrician and that definitely looks like a phone cable.

It is a 30 foot cord specifically requested to be made by the buyer. It was tested and is fully functional "when used to re-prog using a desktop in his basement" as requested by him. It will work in that application.

If he wants a FULL refund I'd be more than happy to send him one.
