I remember (YEARS AGO) that there was an "ALTERNATIVE" rear view door mirror that people were using on the 95-96 Impala/Caprice.

I want to say it was a Grand Prix? Maybe Grand Am??

Anyone?

Any pictures?

Or, did I just "DREAM" it??

They need to be shaped a bit to fit the b-body door smoothly. The mounting points are slightly different too. It can be done easier than other style mirrors but it's not a simple bolt on.

All you need to do to get them to fit is to swap out the top stud with one from your original mirror. That's all I had to do to fit a '99 TA mirror on my '95 Caprice.

Maybe it's cause I was playing with mirrors off of a '94 Firebird. I guess the mounts changed slightly between '94 and '99.
