it isnt weight you should be worried about its performance,if you dont have a stout bottom end then aluminium heads wont be any good use to you cause steel heads perform better than aluminium on stock engines but i think you save like 20 somewhat lbs.hope this helps ask around guys on here will agree just .02
60 lbs lighter than iron. Your bottom end has nothing to do with the heads. Iron heads flow better in stock configuration. Alu. is an upgrade ONLY when you have proper head work done, which the alu. heads are better because they are easier to port & polish.
