I have a set like that on my car and they clear Crane gold 1.6 rockers with no problem. There have been no leaks from the covers. Also they are pretty stiff so you can tighten them down pretty good.

I used a set on my old iron heads when I was running the Comp Pro-mags. I ended up grinding the crap out of the extra material between the center bolt hole and the inside edge. I don't run them any longer and will sell them to you for $30 and I'll pay shipping.
They are by now means brand new and free from scratches....see below.

the passenger side especially has some deeper scratches towards the rear.
I used the thick blue silicon rubber gaskets and never had any leak issues.

I have a set form my Vortec 906 heads.

Excelent covers, very thick, they appear to be the same covers.

What kind of breather did you use on these covers? Just any old breather will do? Gotta get a grommet for the breather too....

Havent installed them yet, but I will use old breathers might do an evac to the header unsure.
