Hi guys. Its been a while. So like most of us my antenna stopped working. so I pulled the inner fender, and pulled the antenna out. Now I bought a new nylon cable for it and its time for reassembly. 2 things.
1.does anyone knoe of a picture set or webpage to guide me along?i pulled this apart a while ago and don't 100% know where some things go. like the felt and rubber pieces that come on the new cable.
2. does anyone have any pointers or tips to help me out.
Thanks guys

Does anybody know if you can replace the cable without removing the whole antenna assembly? I know I used to be able to do it on other cars. you just remove the nut, and the nylon cable with the teeth would come out. After you pulled the Mast itself and then insert the new one, and it would work its way back inside. Might take a few seconds for the antenna clutch to sense that the antenna was all the way down. Of course this wouldn't work if there was a piece inside the assembly. I'm pretty sure it's just a broken cable since the clutch never stops. I took the fuse out, and the motor stopped working. Luckily this happened when the antenna was all the way up. The shop manual shows the way you guys have shown; that is removing the assembly through the wheel well, but I'd rather try to avoid this if there's an easier way.
