if you are, what is your opinions on this cam for an LT1, 383, little head work w/ 1.5 exhaust valve, and 1.6 gold race roller rockers? Any better suggestions? I have a 2700 stall and the engine is going to be all forged internals.

What cam are you talking about, man? It sounds like you mean the CC503 cam. It is a good cam. I use it in my 383.

Until you become more specific...

I'm gone.

It looks like the 305 is on a 114 degree lobe seperation which is preferrable for a nitrous motor. If you want to keep it naturally aspirated, I would go with a cam with a 112 degree lobe sep.

Between the two cams 305 vs. 503, I would go with the 503 because it has more duration and a 112 lobe sep. I love my 503. It is a mild cam for a 383. You may even want to try a bigger cam than either of these- the Comp 230/236 cam. I think Debski likes that one.

I'm gone.
