I have been kicking around and trying to learn up about options for FI on our cars, and after some emails and googling I came across these pics...

which seem to some suppliers to look just like the generic sbc kit for a blow through carb/efi. I can't seem to find any other insight to this except for vendors that are happy to sell me the kit... or vendors who will only do "custom kits" in-house, their labor, their tuning, write me a check thank you very much.

Has anyone toyed with this kit successfully without major fabrication being involved?

Depends on your definition of major fabrication...

There is a procharger bracket and pulley "kit" (no head unit) in the for sale section. I think as long as you have the bracket and pulleys, the piping and intercooler would be the "easy" part.
