B-body Floor shifter upgrade

Looking to upgrade the floor shifter in my 96 DGGM SS. Weekend street/strip car. Anyone with experience have some suggestions? I’m considering hurst pistol grip quarter stick or TCI Outlaw type shifters inside slightly modded factory console
