I lost money on this deal, but less then if I had tried to fix everything.

My thoughts exactly. Whoever built it, never needs to touch another vehicle again. Vehicles like this put everyone at risk.

I stripped it of its guts. The air ride setup will be going on a 69 Chevy Suburban.

If those skirt areas werent rusted, I could have reeeeeally used them! Haha, anyways. around here we have done the same thing multiple times. A buddy of mine trades and barters with custom vehicles and parts. Plenty of times they are totally hacked and not worth the time to fix. So he strips them, sells the parts, and scraps the rest. Some projects are just not worth it.

i can prolly get some next time i go to the junkyard...i replaced a rust spot on mine that i got outta junkyard...

I have the mirrors, clear tails, and few other odds and ends off the car that I have listed on craigslist. Not trying to circumvent the sales section, just saying I didn't ditch everything.

After building a way out custom sonoma fresh out of high school then having ever joe smoe in town copy me, I just build what I want and don't worry with them. If your doing it right, someone is going to want to copy you, just the way it goes.
