does anyone have a clue where i can find bilstein 1104 and 0929 shocks. it seem like they are on back order for a while.no one that i have checked with has them.

any help appriciated

Got my rears still waiting on fronts from shox.com. Supposedly due 10/31. No tracking number yet.

I have an order with copcars.com and they are also back ordered until 10-31. I need them badly and can't wait until they come in.

not trying to cause any problems, but I just ordered the 1516/1517 shocks from Shox.com because they told me that one of the 0929/1104 were on back order and there wouldn't be any more available until around December!!

The reason I'm going with the 1104's and 0929's is because they are shorter which means less travel.

Oh well, I have the rears. Maybe I'll put them on this week. The back end just dances too much over bumps.

I just received the tracking number for my front shocks.

Ditto on the last post. Have had my rears on from the day I got them a couple weeks ago, just recieved tracking number on fronts. Order date 9/16.. Justin

You guys got VERY lucky. I called and all the 1104's are GONE! They now have a back order date until the end of November!

Copcars.net says they were told the end of December! Bilstein is NOT doing a very good job with customer relations!

i guess I was one of the few that was able to order the 1104s.i got them from shox.com.
However i also called autozone here in st.pete florida and he told me he coud get them in 3 days.So there may hope yet for those of you who werent able to get them. Just give autozone in your area a call.

Yeah I'd say you were lucky to get them. I called shox.com and they said they got them in yesterday and they are all gone.

My local Autozone wants $90 for one damn shock! Screw them!

I'd rather wait. They told me they had them on back order also.

Here's the low-down on the 1104's.

It's not Bilstein's fault. Long Beach harbor workers are on strike. Bilstein has been trying to get them over here but can't.

Just thought I would pass this along.

Me again... I just got off the phone with Shox.com and they have the 1104's!!!!!!!

I ordered my pair and they will be here by Tuesday of next week.

I was going to say try www.bimmerparts.com, I got mine there. The web site says that they have them in stock for $65. I got mine from them, they did a good job, got them in three days.

I would have but they shipped out yesterday from San Diego, Ca. I'm just glad to have them ordered.

I got horrible customer service from Bimmerparts.com. Never got my rear Bilsteins. So I cancelled and ordered from shox.com. Much better peice of mind.

so are you guys happy with your bilsteins or are they too soft?

I put bilsteins in my van, and way too soft. still bounces all over the road.
