I just did the mod on my 96 SS. first of all the 3 front bushings do NOT even touch the frame. I should have left the washers in there. Maybe next weekend I'll putz with it again.

The back 3 bushings had the lower bushing from the factory, and really didn't need to be replaced.

The test drive was non-impressive. If anything now I have more squeaks and rattles than I had before.

Your upper bushings are tired, and only the bushings between the wheels were without the lowers so yes the rearmost bushings are complete.
