When using the Borgeson steering shaft (here) do you have to file a flat on the gearbox stub shaft (into the splines) for the set screw. If I use the existing flat on the gearbox stub shaft the wheel is upside down (180 degrees off). My alignment shop said that they can only adjust the steering wheel position about 90 degrees using the adjustment sleeves. The only other option I could think of is straightening up the shaft (screw on gearbox flat) and box (when the flat is up, right?), pulling off the pittman arm and straightening up the wheels.

Duh, easy solution, thanks. What about the set screw, when I flipped the shaft it was still a few splines off from the flat area on the stub shaft on the gearbox?
