Did the brakes last night on the Great White. Front pads were about half gone and very glazed. I would have replaced them, but the parts guy gave me the thicker pads instead of the correct ones. I deglazed the pads and rotors and reinstalled. The rear shoes were gone, BIGTIME glazed, and out of adjustment. Replaced rear pads and spring hardware and deglazed the drums. I would have flushed the system, but I am considering the braided steel lines. Any other place to get them besides the Superstore?

The rear disc swap is great. Did the stealth bolt too. It's nice to squat instead of dive (and I don't mean at the urinal). I'll send you some pics this weekend. I'll have to send them via e-mail, since I'm not good enough to post here. I will learn more about posting pictures once the weather does not allow outdoor work.

P.S. I like your signature. "The original Striped SS". As you have seen, then mine is the "Original Twin Striped SS". HAHA

A jab about the sstripes wasnt intended for you. In 1998 in Atlanta, I won best exterior because of the red sstripes. Wouldnt you know it, the guy who came in second, then went out and copied my sstripes onto his car.
