I noticed while I had my caprice lifted to do my transmission swap (very successful by the way) that both of my front wheels seem to have a decent amount of resistance on them when turned. I haven't had time to pull the wheels and look, but I changed the oil on roadmaster and while that was lifted noticed the front tires would spin real easy and keep going a few turns before stopping. The car has 194k on it and I have no idea if the bearings have been done yet.

This was the car that was sitting for a while? Could be rusty rotors.

To get a true measure of the bearing state, you really need to take the caliper off and just spin the rotor by itself.

FWIW, front wheel bearings are supposed to be repacked every 30k, and the torque spec on the castle nut is 12 ftlbs.

Supposedly it was sitting for a month or so. I did it about 10 miles before I tried spinning them.
