If you are interested in a quick dyno tune from Bryan then pls respond to this post or email me and I will schedule this with Bryan. I have already discussed the date, Saturday March 6th, and he has responded with a discount price for the tuning and the Dyno time. There is big savings on the dyno time and even better for Bryan' time.

Here is the pricing for the dyno time and tuning:

Dyno time:
</font>
  • $75 per car (3 or more pulls as required)</font>
Tuning on the Dyno by Bryan:
</font>
  • 1-4 cars . . . $200 ea</font>
  • 5-8 cars . . . $175 ea</font>
  • 9-12 cars . . . $150 ea</font>
Location:
J.D.'s Auto Repair and Performance Center
810 Welsh Rd.
Huntingdon Valley, PA. 19006

I suggest that we schedule this in a morning and afternoon session on a first come first server basis. This way you won't have to wait all day if you get there last. If you want to get in and out then you'll likely need to get there early. Pls let me know when you can make it when you sign up so that we can accommodate as many cars as possible without having you wait around all day.

If you have experience coordinating these type of events and have suggestions then by all means pls share.

My guess is 335 rwhp.
G

You don't have to commit to a time, but let me know whether it will be morning or afternoon session. Any HP estimate?

See you there!
G
So I understand completely, is the cost $150 for the tuning + $75 for dyno time, or are they both included in the $150?
G
It's $150 for the tuning plus $75 for the dyno, a total of $225. I paid $225 for the Dyno time alone when I got my car done, but then I had Bryan do both my OBD-1 and OBD-2 so there was a lot more time on the dyno.

You thinking about coming too Kevin? If so perhaps we'll learn the secret about your car.
G
Add another to the afternoon session.
I will be bringing my pals's 1996 DCM with a 383 and trick heads. This car should be turning out 12.70 times but has failed to do so.
He added nitrous and has always tried to tune for quick 8 and brackets with and without the bottle. I want to focus on the NA tuning and then add the bottle at a later date.
I need to procure a baseline that I can install prior to dyno date and then let Bryan tweak it on the 6th.

This car probably has one of the coolest one off air induction systems in the Impala community.

This car has all the tricks and just needs to be tuned.

My estimated RWHP 360.

You're on the list Homie. Looking forward to seeing it.

Anyone have a video camera that we can use to document some of these pulls? Should be fun!
G
I'd like to participate but I can't this time around, need minor repairs plus a case of dafundzalow. Would it be OK to come by and check things out?
G
I may be in on this. My tranny shipped out today so there's a chance I can make it. Looks like it doesn't matter because you made the #. I don't care what time I get tuned. Whatever leftovers are available is fine. :D I will need a tune for the new convertor and F-body MAF. Should be fun to see the turnout! Jimmy
G
Stu, I understand and I guess it would be ok to come and watch. I'm sure the crowd will be coming and going all day so 1 extra should not be a problem.

Jimmy, see you there man. Oh and I entered your HP estimate for you. Let me know if I'm possibly off. Worst guess buys a round at the pub. :D
G
LOL! Well if I'm 200 shy of that I would be thrilled. I'm hoping for 285HP. I think I'll be at Etown this Sunday, work permitting.
G
OK, were getting closer to the date and as is to be expected some folks are having issues that may prevent them from being able to attend. Life happens so it's no big deal. However, we need to have a large enough group to make it a success. Pls let me know soon if you think you are not going to make it.

Thanks!
G
im still definitely going ;)
G
The transmission R&R is done. I'm still in.
G
OK great, the fun begins at 9:00am. See you then!
G
Damn! I wish I knew about this earlier. CRAP! :(

I guess I'll have to wait another 6 months.

Well, it was fun. For some reason not that many people showed up. It was nice meeting everybody. The numbers are in my signature.

Ree, where were you?
G
yea , it was to bad not more people showed up, but i guess that just ment more dyno time for us right... no rush to get off the dyno....more tuning time... my new numbers are in my sig...
G
There were some awesome numbers posted and one that will hopefully get posted soon (don't worry SS383, they'll get it sorted out)!

I especially liked the incredible numbers by the 9C1 with the Suncoast hood and the Hot cam. I wonder if that's a new record for the hot cam? Fortunately he doesn't have DRs (hell I think he's gonna need slicks) so I shouldn't have too much difficulty beating him at the track. :D

Of course, now I can say I ran less than a half a second behind a B body making over 410 hp and 470 # of tq at the rear wheels. I just won't mention that it was a wagon.
