To put a finer point on it , in the Comp Cam family you need a cam with the prefex 07 .

"LT1 and LT4 Engine -uses “07” Prefix
These engines are, as far as the camshaft is concerned, essentially the same as the hydraulic roller engines, with one exception. The distributor is driven from the front of the cam, requiring some changes in the cam core. There is a deeper pilot hole in the front of the cam, as well as a longer dowel pin to locate this drive. These engines require a special timing chain set, "

In a 94-96 B body the cam pin length is critical and you MUST check it on a new cam even if it is supposted to be the correct cam.

Cams for some other applications will work but you better know what you are doing.
Many cams for factory rollers will fit if the cam was made after the mid 90's if you deal with the dowel pin, but some the center hole will not fit the Opti correctly.
Does that mean this camshaft won't fit?
