I need a new column and I have a chance to get a 95 impala column. My car is a 96 9c1. No cruise control. Will it work? Is it basic install/plug and play? Thanks in advance guys.

It will bolt up, but you will have to swap your key/ignition lock if you have the security system (in key resistor). It may or may not have extra connectors and wiring. If it came from a car with more options just ignore the extra wiring.

That's what I wanted to hear. My brake lights won't work and the column I have has play in it(up and down at the tilt) so I'm going to buy the new column, put a new turn signal and new key lock.
