There are several cruise events across the country this month in recognition of National Car Appreciation Day
If you are in S. Calif. There is one in Simi Valley, Ca. put on by the Coachman Car Club, Ventura chapter. 3p-9p at Simi Valley Town Center (east end). Typically at least 700+ cars. No charge, raffle, band, etc and several places to eat in the mall.
I have been to these before and its a cool event. No charge but a $20 donation for charity is requested but not mandatory.
They pre-stage the cars before 3p and do a pretty good job of getting the cars in and the parking is guided but given the amount of cars that show up its a slow crawl to get in. Mall parking lot is huge and capacity is not a problem.
