I've seen this covered before but don't remember the outcome. I want to know what the CD/Aux button can be used for. In other words, why does it read "Aux" as well? My goal is to plug an Mp3 player in somehow.

Thanks.

 With the piece of hardware from the link, it looks like you should be able to plug an MP3 player in there . . . in theory, that is!

Short answer : it won't work.

Longer answer : the ONLY device that'll work on the 95-96 B-body CD player is an aux tape deck. period. They added CD changer functionality (which is what all of the "add on" aux inputs use) in the 2000+ model year CD players.

But will the GM9-AUX work on a AM/FM/CASS theftlock and a SIRIUS radio unit?

The SIRIUS radio unit is +12V, so can a lead be ran off the 9 Pin Connection to the SIRIUS unit so it powers up and shuts down with the AUX button?

I tried a SIRIUS radio tonight using its built in FM modulator and it sounds fine in my friends car but sounds like crap in mine. Changed the FM frequency several times and all had distortion.

Can the AUX 9Pin input be tapped into without buying an interface like the GM9-AUX?

Does anyone have wiring diagram and info for the 9Pin input?
