Just wondering what classes the ISSCA shows will have? May I make a suggestion? Divide the cars into "Trailer Queens" and "Daily Drivers". Just my 2 cents.

We did extensive work this weekend (ISSCA Board meeting) on the car show classes that will be used for 2001. I expect that Larry Hall will be publishing them shortly.

And yes, car mileage WILL be playing a part in them.

Actually, we'll have THREE mileage classes. Sort of "Trailer Queen", "Driver", and "LOTTA Driving" splits. Those are NOT the names, mind you
(still working on something different for that).

I forget the exact splits, but they are different for the different years (i.e. upper end mileage-wise for "Driver" on a 96 SS would be fewer miles than on a 95 SS, and so on). And they will probably change every year (namely, go up as the cars get older).

I don't suppose the "Non" class (Caprice, etc... uh, there will be a "Non" class, won't there?) will be divided up by mileage? It probably shouldn't considering that relatively few show up (in comparison to Impalas, of course) at the shows. I'm probably not bettering my cause by saying that since my Caprice will be turning 100K sometime in the next week or so.

How about a seperate class for "93 DGGM Caprice w/ Green Pearl Stripes"? I think I'd have a chance...
