So if you don't apply the coating, than how does that work with the lifetime warranty stated on the website?
the issue is you have to send it back to Dan for the coating that issues. so if you have a problem with coating you have to pull the headers and ship them back to dan.
He allows us to buy the headers uncoated(even though he loses some$) this way we can get them coated locally. If anything does happen we don't have to ship them, saving us money and the extra down time.

This is why my headers are uncoated.

Dan's the man, thanks for a great product and always keeping us in mind.

Okay this is a go. Between posting this here and on Facebook, we have had plenty of interest. I ordered material and we started processing orders yesterday. Please call us today to get your orders in and to discuss any questions or options you are interested in.

To answer a few questions:

GEN II TRI-Y and Quad headers are available in 304 stainless for the same discount.
Sorry, we do not offer the Originals in stainless.

We use 304 stainless only, 409 is not an option.

Website is out of date and I have not been able to get in. So here are the current prices of headers, cat converters and off-road pipes.

Original TRI-Y headers - $650.00
Hi-flow converters - $430.00
Off-road pipes - $90.00

GEN II TRI-Y headers - $755.00
Hi-flow converters - $430.00
Off-road pipes - $90.00

1 5/8" Quad-1 headers - $755.00
Hi-flow converters - $430.00
Off-road pipes - $90.00

Thanks again everyone.
To be clear; I can get 304 Stainless Steel headers at the above pricing minus $200? Your verbiage "for the same discount" is throwing me off a little bit.

To clarify a few things.

Shipping wont be for several weeks as I described in my initial description on page 1.

We offer a lifetime warranty on the headers ONLY. I do NOT offer any warranty at all for any ceramic coating. NOT even when the coating is ordered through us. If a coating is ordered, we use Performance Coatings and they offer their own 3 year warranty. My warranty applies to splitting and cracking only. does NOT cover rust as these are mild steel headers and rust is due to normal wear and tear. I was just informed a set of headers rusted through after more than 10 years on the East Coast. Though it is an inconvenience for the customer, I am extremely pleased to know our products are lasting so long. This is the reason we build all mild steel headers using 14 gauge tubing (.083) as compared to other companies using 16 or even 18 gauge tube.

As for the pricing for stainless; regular price less the $200.00 discount. (Same discount as mild steel).

This sale ends this Friday, May 17,2013. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

Thanks all.

I guess I'll have to hold out a little longer to get $200 off on a set of stainless Quad1s! If another group buy like that happens again. I have the steel Quad1s so I can say Dan does make some great headers.
