Hey people i need some help finding what my problem might be. When i turn my steering wheel either way mostly to the left its clicking and popping sound. Even when im stoped and parked you can hear it pop as you get out of the car. Like when a passenger or I get out of the car. I think its the Suspension or front axle. Has anyone ever seen had or heard of this issue.

Check your front suspension bushings, and shim stacks. Either one can cause the sound. While you are at it check your ball joints...jack the front and pull/push the top of the tire and check for movement.

There are numerous other issues it could be, but those are extremely important.

If your steering input changes when you hear the noise, it is in your suspension.

jack up the front end grease all the fittings and check for any slop in the steering components.

grease these every oil change .. do not put too much in the ball joints or the boots may crack ..

if you or service shop does not grease then these parts maybe damaged worn out ..

could be loose front end suspension hardware and one time on an older GM sedan the coil springs made noise as the vehicle had well over 200K in rust belt .. made creaking noises when vehicle would rock ..

Did you find out what was the issue? My Impala and Roadmaster both do this.
