when turning a corner or on a wet surface and i floor it alittle bit the back-end of my car fishtails slightly. is this a symptom of some greater problem?

Yep....
It's either "leadfoot syndrome" or to much power under the hood.

To fix it you can either seek psycological help or do a motor swap with a Honda VTEC.

Hey I have that problem too. Whenever I try to turn the corner my mack end wants to come out. My passengers are always screaming "SLOW DOWN!!!" but i was sure that wasnt it. Its good to know that im not the only one having troubles like these.

When I had bad control arms and I spun on straight road it always threw the back out away from the bad side

my SS went right my caprice goes left and the opposite arms were borked
