During a recent overhaul of my previously neglected cooling system, I replaced the following: All hoses, all clamps, restrictor and tee, tb bypass, replaced a freeze plug with a pinhole, a water pump that had about 5 ball bearings left, 160 t-stat, dual electric fan conversion, and coolant reservoir. I found, 2 weeks later that the brand new coolant reservoir was seeping at the seam at the front, driver side corner. I called up my friendly, local GMC dealership, and they ordered me a new one under defective part warranty. After 50 miles of driving with the warranty replacement, It's seeping through the seam AGAIN in the same spot!!!
Apparently there was a bad run of these manufactured. Has anyone else gotten a defective one recently?
