I love my Corvette starter. I have a rebuilt Delco, but I have installed Premier Gear (PG) on 2 other cars - my daughters Civic and a friends Hyundai. This is obviously not your typical starter. From the packaging to the quality of the unit itself, PG stands out. I first learned of this brand from an Indy shop that uses them and never a problem. And a great price.

I am not familiar with that brand, but it looks like the same ones also being sold as "Power Select." When I built the 383, I used the larger 'truck' sized flexplate so that I could use the cheap junkyard gear-drive starters off the Vortec pickups. A new Premier Gear starter from Amazon for that application is only $46. Not bad...
