i am looking at putting disc brakes on my 92 and have a couple questions....

what is the width of a rear end with disc brakes? (same as a drum brake rear end i hope...)

what year caprice/impala did they come on?

will i hafta get a different master cylinder?

Width info

94-96 - Impala SS and Caprice 9C1 only

You can use the MC you have now. What matters more is changing the proportioning to get full benefit from improved rear brakes--91-93 models use a different prop valve compared to 94-96 cars, but all are similar in behavior, with very little rear braking force available.
