I know that Aero wheel can take a shot, becuase I've seen a lot of them slam the wall at the local short track on stock cars. I'm not sure it is street legal for some reason, though. And as it is made for racing only, you aren't going to get a nice center cap.

The Cragar probably weighs more, but it is finished off better and you can get hubcaps.

Yeah now that I look it says the Aeros aren't DOT approved...I also see it's a 45 degree lug..

Is there really any danger to using a non-DOT approved wheel?? I don't have to pass inspection anywhere with my cars so I'm not worried about that...

Keep this in mind: Race wheels we never designed to handle potholes, expansion joints, or the big metar covers they love to put over roadwork around here.

It's a steel wheel, to the likelyhood of fracturing one (like aluminum rims) is minimal, bending one isn't.
