i just cut a 1/2 of a coil of of my springs in the front and was wondering if this will be enough to drop it another 1/4 to 1/2 inch of of the hight? have subwoofers in the back and the back sits lower than the front by about that much.

I am going to say around an inch also. If the springs are in the car still, I would measure the distance between coils, with the car weight on the coils and then decide how far you want to drop it then cut that much of a coil off.
It sounds like you already cut the springs. I think we all agree you don't want to cut anymore, so you may as well install and let us know.
I assume you have already cut the Eibach recommended 3/4" off of the top of the rubber bumpstop. You now may need to get new shorter bumpstops.
I once cut 1 full coil off of stock Caprice springs and was surprised to find it dropped over 2" and I was riding on the bumpstops.
