OK I haven't even looked at it yet, but while Im sitting here at work I was wondering if it is possible to cut the front springs of a 9C1 without taking them out.( one coil to lower the front) I figured on jacking the front end, removing wheel, and using a part off tool to cut it. Am I missing something obvious (don't holler at me, like I said I'm only thinkin' so far).

Yes, the fact that the spring is literally under hundreds of pounds (if not over 1000 lbs) of compression while installed, even with the wheel off the ground!

Needless to say, gotta remove it to cut it. BTW, 1 coil = 2" of drop.

Also use a sawzall or wizzer wheel. Use a torch and you can render the spring usless and unsafe.. (heat will lose all the springs strength)
