I know it's not the best thing to do ride quality wise, but i'm planning on bagging my 95 9c1 soon down the road, so I don't want to waste money on lowering coils. I only want to go about 2 inches with the drop, so any ideas on how many coils I need to take off front and rear? Thanks in advance.

i think that the front springs can be cut

i think you CAN NOT cut rears because they are tapered and will not seat in perch correctly

please anyone if i am wrong correct me

new springs might be abale to be purchased for $ 150 , i know you do not want to waste money

You are right, front springs can be cutted but not REAR.

It should be no plm for you to cut front springs, Doug.

I cut about 7/8ths of a coil off some '88 9C1 salvage yard spings and it lowered my 94 Impala about 1/2" from the stock starting point. I'd guess each coil is probably worth about a 2" drop.

if you mean NC as in Negative Camber, then yeah, sounds familiar. Have a few friends spread out across the country that are in NC. IV was founded in AZ.
