Bump to the top for a great supplier

Karl - MO is on its way for the Callies Compstar Kit & Spacers - coming puroletter hopefully by friday - mike

And finally, the premium forged crank/rods/piston 383 stroker kit. Use the rebuild kit above and add a Compstar speed pack from Callies. $2280 bucks.
Are all these components in this kit Made in the US or are some of them from China? TIA

So Karl, what would it set me back to get rid of the China CRAP and upgrade it to something made in the US? Not worred about the German and Australian lineages. Basically the same kit as earlier but swapping out the Chinese stuff (crank and rods) for the US stuff? TIA

Karl.... not like I would ever change my mind, but what is the price difference between the Compstar and Dragonslayer cranks? What is the difference between the two? Weight.. finish... strength... all of the above?

Thanks,
TOM B

I do not know what you spend on bolts but last I bought from Dal a full set of stockers was $23. Just a thought.

Karl, how do those bearings compare to the Clevites? Rings to Sealed Power?

I'll probably be ordering the basic rebuild kit from you shortly.
I'm assuming that'd be good enough quality for a mild heads/cam set up?

Ever think about adding the "modified" Melling HD oil pump to these kits? That way those of us who don't have the means to modify them ourselves have a place we can just buy one?

As far as the head bolts, the ARP Black oxide ones are less than 60 bucks at Summit. Maybe you could carry those? (PN ARP-134-3601) Just tryin' to help...

Thanks for doing this for us, Karl! Looks like a well thought out package! I wish ya best of luck!

See ya at the track.
(Is it spring YET????)

Karl, that was a full set it is what I used on my motor in spring.

This weekend I should be able to post feedback on the rebearing kit, I am confident the feedback will be positive
. Not my motor, a friend who needs tools and space I happen to have.
Supposed to be a high near zero
so it might be monday by the time my fingers thaw enough to post but I will post.

Dwayne you are correct and I just ordered a bunch of head bolt sets from DAL. Very cool!

For the DIYer the melling 10552 or 10555 pumps are great. They have a 3/4 pickup that bolts on and is really easy to adjust. If you were building a strip only car the same parts numbers with a 'c' at the end will land you a anti-cavitation version of the pump.

would this 383 stroker kit work just as well in my 1996 Camaro Z-28, I would like to do a stroker in it for less than the 8k it cost me in my impala.
