I want to order a Denny's aluminum driveshaft

a) because I just installed longer lower control arms

b) because I want to make a differential gear swap (3.73) and don't want the dreaded driveshaft vibration.

I haven't actually called Denny's yet, but on their web site they recommend "to complete the job" that I purchase a chrome moly pinion yoke for $140.95.

Is this really necessary with my mostly stock 94 ss?

Thanks

in your case a "stock" size yoke is enough.

if you make power or have a stick car than 1350 yokes are recommended

The stock yoke will be just fine.

dennys makes a great DS....what you should confirm now is your DL angle...which may have been changed due to the longer control arms. If the DL angle goes beyond spec...vibrations will be there....even with a Dennys DS
