I just finished installing my Bilsteins and have already torqued them down without the weight on all fours. Please tell me I don't have to go out and buy new nylon lock nuts to retorque the shocks. Thanks.

It is fine, the only things you have to trque with the weight on are bushings that rotate, that would pretty much just be control arm bushings front and rear upper and lower.

Well, I installed my Hotchkis lowers as well and I didn't think of that either. It didn't mention that in the instructions. Do you think I can "get away" with it or should I redo them? (LCA's)

On LCAs with poly or rubber bushings, you need to have the weight on the suspension when you torque them down. Otherwise, you'll bind up the bushings and destroy them in short order.

Note this is NOT a requirement for a bushing that truly does rotate freely (i.e. Del-a-lum or Spherical)
