Hello everyone, I have a 95 SS and the driver side seat forward and backward motor is acting up. I can move the seat back and forward but some times it will only move a little other times it will move almost the length of the track. It has a more consistent stopping issue when moving forward though. Thank you very much for any help in advance

Been there done that.

Remove the seat, flip it over. Won’t look all that complicated.

Take stuff apart. Clean it, regrease it, bet you’re good to go. Stuff gets under our seats gums up the works and the grease becomes useless. Checkany play that might be there, should be pretty snug all around.

If you cracked any plastic parts, Ugh, but if it’s just jammed up and crusty ... you’ll be set.

Let’s assume of course your door switches aren’t the problem. That it can go full travel, some times, is promising.

Electrical. While you’ve got the harness disconnected, use a test light (or voltmeter) to verify the switches do their part and also check both pins and sockets on the harness for oxidation (green) which could cause intermittent operation.

Good luck.
