Happy New Year to everyone from ECIRS/Impala SS/B-Body Racing- It that time of the year again that we need to start looking at the racing schedule for 2016. For the sponsors of the races that plan on scheduling a race please submit them to me and we will get them on the racing schedule calendar. Also don't forget that the ISSCA Nationals and LTX Shootout dates are still in the planning phrase for this year.

Still working on the ISSCA contracts, but here are the dates we are working on.

7/26 - Registration at host hotel
7/27 - AX Cross at NOLA
7/28 - RR at Nola
7/29 - Drag Racing at No Problem
7/30 - Car Show and Banquet (TBD)

ECIR Racing Seasons

Would like to make a Suggestion on Race Dates.

Set them up for 3 years.
Most are the same weekends that we have been racing for years.
This would simplify planning, adding tracks, moving dates, setting up sponsors and collecting money.
Would help me plan around my IHRA schedule.

Money Saver Tip.
All Tracks provide Trophies for Free.
As many as you need.
If it rains, they will pull the tag and use it another time.

What race track do we want to have the ECIRS Double Point Finale?

Island seems to be the most centrally located and they always accommodate us even if we have weather related date changes. I think the finals should go back to Island. I love Cecil the best but they don't show us the love that Island does. The consensus can decide on this.

To build on what Normy said above, Keith got us 3 ETown dates and Keith and I will work with Island to hammer out some other dates/doubleheaders with our buddies at Island.

Using last years schedule and the firm dates we have so far this year, here is a working template for 2016. Please try and fit your race on or around the dates below. We try to have at least 2 weeks between races for financial and family reasons.

I also slightly revised it, we had one too many dates in there.

Keith and I will work with Island to fill in those dates. Jason B, Jim McC will work with us to make sure they can make there own races.

SUNDAY MAY 8th is MOTHERS DAY. That's going to be a problem for a lot of us.

FWIW..trying to buy a Barrel of VP C10 High Test REAL Gasoline.
Mason Dixon will store the Barrel and will have a year long supply.

Will see what deal I can sell it for by the gallon for to ECIRS.
