Happy New Year to everyone from ECIRS/Impala SS/B-Body Racing- It that time of the year again that we need to start looking at the racing schedule for 2016. For the sponsors of the races that plan on scheduling a race please submit them to me and we will get them on the racing schedule calendar. Also don't forget that the ISSCA Nationals and LTX Shootout dates are still in the planning phrase for this year.

OK I will not be there with my 96 SS, My wife wanted to visit her sister in NJ, hates riding in my car and I wanted to go to this race so we compromised!

I am bringing her 2014 Impala so it will be a new experience, front wheel drive, 300+ HP and street tires. But it is still an Impala so do not make fun of me.

It sounds like the first round is a give away to the one who lines up against me. But hey I get 30 points :)
I'll be there. Prolly out in the first round as yesterday was anything but consistent, but I'll be there, mostly just to hang! Now to decide on whether or not to try to run the slicks and just not launch it hard. Might pull first pass on slicks and if it bogs too much, I'll just slap the street tires back on. She runs though:)
Timmay! Ya gotta have confidence man!
You got the powa to overcome a shizzy light!
Just dial a 14.0 and let off at the 1000'!

Sorry boys I'm out. Car is ready. Driver is ready (yeah right).

Heading to Houston on Friday for the Final Four. Won't be back until Tuesday.

Sorry Fred, I was going to wear my Gramby Motorsports Jacket!

Ha ha, 14.0, nah, but I will leave myself a little room if I get a bad launch or wheel spin. But the air should be consistent, so the biggest problem will be my lights I think. But I honestly do plan on dialing around .2 over what I think my car will really run. Problem I found out yesterday is, there is a tremendous difference from shifting around 6K to shifting around 6700 where my light is. I'm talking like .4 and 4 mph... I'm not going to go many rounds, if any, but hey, just out to see the guys I haven't seen in years.

Timmay approves of this! But if Nova gets blown out, I'm blaming it on your NY bad luck you put on a philly squad!!!!! Go Cats Go!!!!!

Might make a road trip out of the next race, have to see what the schedule says first. Going to be a long day.... Big fight that night...
Is there a recommended hotel to use for Hagerstown?

I can't remember where I stayed last year? If I stayed over...?

My 2 cents.
Stay in Frederick which has a bigger selection.
More resturants.
20 minutes away from the track.

You and Area51 stayed in some craptastic place close to the track last year.

Like Dan stated, Fredneck, has a better selection.

I will be there but I still have not done a dam thing to the car.

Even have a new rad to go in but have been out riding the motorcycle instead. :grin2:
