I just saw online that noted LT1 tuner Ed Wright passed away. He was in his late 70's.

I don't know if he ever posted to the forum, but I sure did here his name frequently in the early - mid days.

Very sad to here, RIP Ed.

Ed has done every tune on my car as mods progressed since the late 90's. I never met him but did speak to him several times on phone. He went out of his way to solve problems for me which in every case was not a result of the tune. I have always been grateful for his help.

Never met the man but heard the name enough back when I got onto the online SS scene in around 03 to know that he did a lot for the B body community. RIP

Ed helped me get my supercharged Impala running right in 1995. As you can imagine, there weren't may people who knew what to do with a boosted LT1 back then.
Ed was super-nice, really smart, and a great car guy.
RIP Ed. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
