The line from the EGR connects to the EGR solenoid, which then connects to the intake manifold. see here:

Your fp regulator vacuum line should just connect to the intake manifold. See here:

I don't know of advantages of eliminating the'll need to program it out of the PCM if you do.

The air pump delete is simple: it reduces the crap in the engine compartment. However, since you have a '96 I "think" you'll need to get it programmed out of the PCM....otherwise a CEL will light. Not sure.
