I was going thru the forum today since I need to add some refrigerant to my A/C system. I remembered Babywag's post Did some math small r134a cans in CA = total RIPOFF! and then thought about things.

Checked NAPA online, and I was seeing a $109 price tag. Then thought about today being Amazon Prime day....Then just said WTF, let me look to see if Sam's Club 30Lb Tank had it. Sure enough, it was hidden behind the motor oil cases.

How can you beat $68.64 for 30Lbs?

I figured I don't plan on dying anytime soon, and I've got 2/3 vehicles that use R134 so I've got my supply for the next few years...

And That's Why We're Driving, - We're Driving...

haha good one. Maybe not all the way to Illinois, but lord anywhere's got to be cheaper than CA for any chemical more than one syllable.

And makes me wince thinking of the shipping charges on a ho.

$70 for 40 can's worth is pretty good. But do you really do a complete recharge to all your cars every year?
No, but I do like to make money on the side, so I work on friends and family vehicles.
