is anyone else interested in having family pricing for ISSCA. say im a member and my wife has to join but we dont need 2 magazines. why waste more money to send 2 magazines to the same address and the printing costs. if you think we should have a system like this get a hold of your ISSCA rep or Harvey and let him know. also cant ISSCA help with getting stuff like T-84 headlights made??? just some questions we had yall. When I joined ISSCA and paid my dues. I received a membership card for myself and one for my wife. Hers has her name with my membership number and expiration date like mine is. I think you probably just have to request an additional card with the spouses name on it.
I really don't see a need in making a separate family rate when all you want is a spouse membership card. Just ask for aqn additional card and if need be add a couple of bux for it.

but my wife has to be a member because of the ISSCA Charter Club Rules. i think $65-75 would be good for a family membership, but im not a ISSCA rep that counts just a dues paying member. SSeeya

I'd be interested in the "family plan." My wife is the ISSCA member and I'll be her guest in Tulsa!

Nick : not quite sure where you're going with this one.....

As always, a name badge for a spouse has been a "just ask for it" item. Southern Comfort covered that one.

As for the charter club thing : what club are you trying to charter? I believe that HOSS has more than enough members to count for the charter
. If it's another club (in which case, great!) then let's see were things stand now.

ed,
both me and lori are club officers for hoss, i am Vice pres and lori is secretary. but we didnt know why we needed 2 memberships that would include 2 magazines. couldnt there be a thing where you could pay $25-30 for a member number and nametag instead of $40 since we dont need 2 magazines. also what else are we getting for our $40/year that we arent getting from a local established club? someone asked me and i didnt know what to tell them. they just want to join one club not 2 and pay only one dues. just some things that have come up. Nick and all others that may have the same question,
Here it is plain and simple, your membership is a family membership which includes your spouse and under age children.

If you do want seperate memberships so you can receive your own magazines and your own personal member number, you will have to join seperately. This means that if two family members are officers in a Chartered Club then they are both members of ISSCA if one is already a member.

The key to this situation is the fact that we are a family oriented organization.

Family membership is already at a great discount at $40.00. If anyone would like to have a membership card for family members, just let us know on the member update form at: https://www.goissca.org/memb_update.htm

An example of haveing two memberships in a family is my own family. My wife has her own SS and she also wants her own membership, so she pays for the additional membership.

I hope this makes everything clearer as the By-Laws may not spell this out.

Thanks,
Harvey Clark
