Is there a way to tell if a pair of electric fans in a parted out Impala is going to work before I pay for them? Wire them to a battery?

You could do that make sure you have fused wire fo it. sorry dont have the diagram in front of me

If it is already removed, have a very firm grip on it when connecting to battery. There will be lots of torque to counteract. No need for a fuse for a short test. If you are testing both at the same time by yourself, suggest you take some 2 x 4 and nails with you and secure those puppies.
