Hey fellas...I am going to upgrading my sounds and I wanted to ask your opinions on my choices...

In the cab Ill be going with:

Pioneer:
TSD1720C
TSD6902R

For amps Im looking at:

Kicker:
ZXS1500.1
ZX650.4

Subs:

Kicker:
10CVX12D2 (dual 2 ohm)


Its most likely way more than Ill ever need but I only wanna do it once and do it right. I have a couple friends that are big into mobile audio and they helped me make my choices once I figured out what my budget was going to be. The box I have for my subs is the eBay special...Im going with a pair of 12's...

For a head unit I already have a Pioneer AVH-P4300 with the DetailSS double din kit...

did the same system in a 96 ss for a friend of mine and it sounds good and at a decent price point.just make sure to go as big as your budget allows on wire so if in the future you want to upgrade you dont have to rip all of the hard parts out.And yes we always upgrade at some point

there should be a alternator shop around you that can rebuild your alt to around 200 amps.

CVXs are pretty decent subs if you can get them for a good price. I ran a couple of 12s sealed in my Caprice for a couple years. They got pretty loud given the setup. Their amps, believe it or not, are actually pretty decent quality. Open up one of the ZX amps and check out the internals. They're beefier than most amps in their price range. And you'll definitely be happy with the Pioneer D series speakers. The TS-D1720C components pull some extremely high reviews. I run them in my Jeep and love them. I'm running the active and run the mids from 63 Hz @ 18 dB/oct to 2.5 kHz @ 24 dB/oct. They play every note cleanly and hardly ever miss a beat. Occasionally, usually on a bad recording, they'll distort when I drive them too hard. I've been beating on them for a couple years now and haven't ever thought about swapping them out for something else.
