I didn't bother to do a search because most everything is gone from the archives.

I went to look at a set of dark grey bonneville seats today and they had a 96 Fleetwood with light grey, power, heated, 2 place memory, leather seats just wondering if the front seats bolt right in and is the rear the same size in the Caprice, I know the Fleetwood is 8 inches longer in the wheel base ?

The seat belts are way different, but the bolt pattern should be the same for the tracks.

Didn't even think about seat belts being different........ I was gonna snag them too.

What about the rear seat, could the bottom be longer front to back ?

fleet wood seats installed in caprice

I installed Fleetwood 94-96 front in my 96 and rear seats in my 91 caprice . The fronts have the same bolt pattern,I put my leather caprice seat covers on the Fleetwood foam seats an easy fit. The rear seat had to me made less wide with bolt cutters removing the far sides of the wire frame, an easy job. The rear seat back being about 6 inches taller was not a problem,it made the interior a bit more private.I like it.

Copy All on the - "most everything is gone from the archives"

A good deal of investigating and measuring in the past on this topic.

topmeat-, interesting to hear you got the Cady rears modded to fit a B-body. And, you got my attention with your front reskin. I've got the usual ripped up/worn bolster belt area, but new FWB covers are pretty $$$. Anything to know up front in case I start hunting for some blue leather (or vinyl) Caprice seats?
