I was wondering if some of you electrical wizards in here could give a step by step for installing a floor mount dimmer switch, if it is at all possible? Would a 3 prong floor dimmer switch work? Any info would be much appreciated, it's on a 95 caprice sedan no HID's or twighlight sentinal

Some floor dimmer switch will work since it most probable be functioning a relay anyway. You need to redirect the wires that go to the present dimmer switch and connect them to the new. To do any of this you need to get a color wiring diagram and figure it out, something like this.

You also need to get underneath the car to observe the proposed spot is clear. You will need a body punch to make the hole or else a drill and ream it out. Plus mounting holes.
