i answered this in another section sorry.

They are still breaking it down. it needs to be converted and takes a lot of time. we had to outsource it, but he is contract and has other things to do so it will take time.

a corrupt sql database can take month to repair.....just a fyi

I can see why someone hacked the forum and deleted the info now..(Clarify,the data that was accidentally deleted in 2009) seems hard to do on accident.

I can take them picking on me but I cant stand for slander and foul mouthed name calling..They need to act like adults not kids..They troll the forum and bash on my topic with no relative value of stats..I wish I could delete the whole post,I deleted mine to move on but they are relentless..They have no idea what or who...I or we are.. I do appreciate the few NICE SR members who actually have great input and stay on the thread topic.Thank you for cleaning the site up and monitoring us crazy people..Muggzz

I can see why someone hacked the forum and deleted the info now..

The forum was not hacked. A file was accidently deleted by an incompent employee of the old hosting company and they did not have a back up copy....

you have to understand the way this was brought to them.

lets some it up like this.

"Hi we are the new owners of your information, your sweat, your blood, your dedication to ISSF and the bbody community. We own it now so you cant edit it. We also added advertisements and would highly recomened you paying for somthing that has always been free, thanks have a nice day"

me personally i see no speed difference, ISSF was never REALLY slow for me... it had a DNS issue and a few SQL issues but slow...not since i been here.

some people are just going to have a problem with it, fact of the matter is the forum is owned by a buisness now...its nothing but a tool to make money.

what i am worried about is when this tool no longer makes money.

Muggzz has a difficult time communicating clearly.
Coles notes: I think he is frustrated because some senior forum members came down on him for deleting a bunch of posts in a thread in which he started an argument.
Muggzz misunderstood how our data loss happened and made 'non relative comments'.

You only know of what you see.I asked a question and received my answer on the first page.. I was directly yelled at for something I did not do POST WHAT WAS IN THE STICKIES,yes I will defend myself.(another member posted it,its still on there in his reply) on my thread. My topic isnt in the stickiesI USED THE ADVANCED SEARCH.So yes I am going to call them out as well but without calling names like they did..Simple,what they had to say was not relevant to my threads topic and just negative.Backing their words with no documentation or stats..

I didnt ask about big breaks,I clarified my posts no intention to argue,they assumed I was talking about the HD12 kit..I posted about slotted or drilled rotors nothing of HD12.. So yes I am upset that my thread was misunderstood and defended myself in a respectful manor.They did not.....

While I'm thinking about it, has there been any progress on recovering the lost data from the old UBB forum back ups? I know there was talk about getting it back 5 or 6 months ago... It sure would be awesome to get at least those 7 or 8 years of old data back....

After they posted the HD12 kit I stated I would get a certain brand caliper to use with the kit and thats where things/ASSumptions began from the others.

I see clearly now..Roll over and let them do what ever huh..Thats why they keep doing it to others.I know I am not the only one....

I am sure the association doesnt like the bad repore this stuff leaves in the searches(google,yahoo,bing) maybe I can get a new customer out of it..That is what I do for a living besides play with cars..

Maybe I should say thank you for them being so rude and nasty to me
